eXzess-Meine zwei Leben

eXzess

Excess- Free-Fall into Heaven

eXzessDario Pizzano, born 1974 in Göttingen, was trained as industrial business management assistant. He had been working as eventmanager and DJ for 12 years. In 2005, he backs out and begins his studies in theology. Nowadays he works as pedagogical assistant in the diocese of Erfurt. He is married and has two children.Big religious memoir for a generation that has lost touch with God.In his memoir, Dario Pizzano, writes both his own story and that of his generation. It is the story of a youth spent without a home, without love and without anything to hold on to –compensated only by excessive drug-induced and sexual experiences.Dario Pizzano relates the story of a youth that is in many ways sympto matic. His origins aremulticultural - his father is Italian, his mother German - but Dario didn‘t really have a home at all: But what he did have in spades was freedom, which, being a so ciable type, he soon exploited to excess. He lived life in the fast lane, became a successful DJ, rock concert promoter and club owner. Two illegitimate children and a double addiction problem to sex and drugs lead him into a deep depression. Then, something incredible happened to him: a direct experience of God.
